Welcome to Lima, Peru’s lively capital that blends colonial heritage with cosmopolitan flair. After a long flight, unwind at your hotel and relax. If you’re up for it, head out to Miraflores, a beautiful seaside district known for its cliffside views, artisan cafes, and ocean breeze. Watch the sunset over the Pacific, enjoy a light dinner, and meet your fellow travellers as your Peruvian adventure begins. Overnight stay in Lima.
Rise and shine for your first taste of adventure! After breakfast, head out on a day trip to the Palomino Islands, one of Lima’s best-kept secrets. Hop aboard a yacht tour across the Pacific waters, spotting herons, Humboldt penguins, and playful sea lions. And if you’re feeling bold — take a dip and swim alongside the sea lions in their natural habitat. Return to Lima by evening and explore the city’s buzzing food scene. Try authentic Peruvian ceviche, unwind at a rooftop bar, or simply enjoy a peaceful night by the ocean. Overnight stay in Lima.
Catch your morning flight to Cusco (airfare not included as prices fluctuate). Welcome to the historic capital of the Inca Empire — a city of cobbled lanes, vibrant culture, and endless charm. Give time to adjust to high altitude Start with a light Cusco City Tour, often called the Puma City for its sacred animal-shaped layout. Visit Cusco’s central market, filled with local produce and colourful Andean crafts, then head to the Santo Domingo Convent, built atop the Koricancha Temple — once the most revered temple of the Sun. Spend your evening strolling through quaint streets, visiting local cafes, or tasting Andean delicacies. Overnight stay in Cusco.
Begin your day with a drive to Chinchero, known for its well-preserved Inca walls and traditional weaving art. Visit a beautiful colonial church before continuing to Moray, where circular Inca terraces showcase ancient agricultural innovation. Next, head to the Maras Salt Mines, with over 3,000 sparkling pools carved into the mountainside — a true marvel the locals call the “Tears of Mother Earth.” Enjoy a buffet lunch in the Sacred Valley, once the spiritual and commercial heart of the Inca Empire. After breakfast, board the train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu Town. The scenic journey through the Sacred Valley offers breathtaking mountain and river views. Wander through the ancient citadel, marvel at its architecture, and take in panoramic views that feel straight out of a dream. After lunch, return by train to Ollantaytambo. An early start takes you south of Cusco through picturesque valleys. After a 2.5-hour drive, enjoy a traditional breakfast in the Cocla community, then begin your Rainbow Mountain trek. The hike rewards you with surreal views of the Andes, glacial peaks, and red mountains, with llamas and alpacas often crossing your path. At the summit, soak in the dazzling colours of the mountain — nature’s masterpiece. After descending, enjoy a buffet lunch and visit nearby Andean communities to experience traditions still preserved from Inca times.
