Overview
Bir is a rural village located in the west of Joginder Nagar Valley in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is also the location of the Bir Tibetan Colony, founded in the early 1960’s as a settlement for Tibetan refugees & now known as the Paragliding capital of India.
Bir is also a noted centre for ecotourism, spiritual studies and meditation.While Billing is the takeoff site for paragliding and Bir village is for landing; collectively it is known “Bir Billing”.
Barot, a village originally developed in 1920s for Shanan Hydel Project, is now a tourist location in Mandi district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
Situated at a height of 1835 meter Barot is a beautiful place on the bank of river Uhl. It is famous for its Trout Fish Farm.

Tour Location
Day 1: DELHI – 18th September (9 pm)
-Meet your trip genie (meeting point will be shared after the booking) -Start your overnight journey for Bir via Murthal -Overnight in your Mini Bus (you can ask for pictures of the bus)
Day 2: BIR
-Breakfast en-route Bir -Reach Bir -Relax for a couple of hours at your hotel or Swiss Camp (check in time as per the hotel standards) -Explore the local tibetan market/ cafés -Visit a monastery & meet the monks(if allowed) -Dinner in Bir -Overnight stay in Bir
DAY 3: Barot
-Post breakfast free time for Paragliding (Paragliding fee is not included but we will assist you with your advance booking) -Transfer to Barot in the afternoon -Overnight stay in Barot near Uhl river
DAY 4:Chilling in Barot
-Post Breakfast enjoy the laid-back mountain vibes -Leisure time for village exploration or cafe hopping -Evening departure for Delhi -Dinner en-route Delhi
DAY 5: BACK to DELHI (22nd September )
-back to Delhi at around 6am -goodbye hugs to your new friends
